The Hyundai Genesis really looks good at this years Chicago Auto Show. The Updates Genesis for 2012 has a new 429-horsepower 5.0-liter R-Spec model. You can expect it to be the most expensive Genesis ever, priced between $45,000 and $50,000.

The R-Spec will be offered in three “sport-oriented exterior colors,” said Hyundai. They include Black Noir, Titanium Gray and Platinum Metallic. The inside looks great with black leather with a black leather steering wheel.

Expect this Genesis to deliver 17 mpg in city driving and 26 mpg on the highway.

This years changes include what Hyundai calls a “more aggressive front fascia,” redesigned headlights with LED accents, redesigned taillights, and brushed aluminum finish on the side window surrounds. All models now get daytime running lights.
